Wolverine (BPC-157 + TB-500)
Also known as Wolverine Blend
Last reviewed September 26, 2026
A combination of BPC-157 and TB-500 at 5mg each, pairing two of the most-studied repair-associated peptides. Research explores whether their distinct mechanisms are complementary.
Mechanism of action
The two compounds are studied for different steps in the repair sequence, BPC-157 for angiogenic and epithelial signaling, TB-500 for actin regulation and the migration of repair cells.
- Complementary MechanismsPairs a compound studied for vascular and epithelial signaling with one studied for cytoskeletal regulation and cell migration.
- Single ReconstitutionBoth compounds share a vial, so a protocol using each of them requires one preparation rather than two.
- Route studied
- Subcutaneous
- Research status
- Early clinical
The blend itself has not been studied as a combination, and published evidence for its components consists largely of BPC-157 reviews, mostly drawing on preclinical work, alongside a small human report on intra-articular BPC-157 for knee pain.
What the research covers

Questions about Wolverine (BPC-157 + TB-500)
Wolverine, also called the Wolverine Blend, is a combination of two repair-associated research peptides, BPC-157 and TB-500, supplied at 5 mg each in a single vial. The pairing brings together two of the most-studied peptides in repair research. Research interest centers on whether their distinct mechanisms are complementary, although the combination itself has not been evaluated as a blend in published studies. It is sold for laboratory research use only.
The two compounds are studied for different steps in the repair sequence. BPC-157 has been studied for angiogenic and epithelial signaling, meaning the formation of new blood vessels and the behavior of surface tissues. TB-500 has been studied for actin regulation and the migration of repair cells, involving the cytoskeleton. Because the mechanisms differ, researchers have explored whether combining them could cover more of the repair process than either compound alone.
Most published work concerns BPC-157. Reviews have examined its role in musculoskeletal soft tissue healing and wound healing, largely based on animal studies, and a systematic review has assessed its emerging use in orthopaedic sports medicine. A small human report described intra-articular BPC-157 for several types of knee pain. TB-500 has been studied for cell migration and actin regulation. No published studies evaluate the two compounds together as a blend.
Human safety data are limited for both components, and the combination has not been studied as a blend. Adverse events are not systematically summarized in the available studies. Recent narrative and safety-focused reviews of BPC-157 and other peptide therapies for musculoskeletal injuries have raised open questions about risk as well as benefit, reflecting the small amount of controlled human evidence. Findings from animal models may not translate to humans.
Research protocols have used 500 to 1,000 mcg per administration, once daily, by the subcutaneous route, with a loading phase before a lower-frequency maintenance phase. These protocols have run in 8-week blocks followed by 4 weeks off. Because both compounds share one vial, a protocol using both requires a single reconstitution rather than two. Each CoreX order ships with a protocol guide describing the research protocol in more detail.
